Who We Are

Family Life is a nondenominational church. All that means is that we teach the bible without added rules and regulations put forth by any particular denomination. We are a full-gospel church. We believe all of the promises that God made to us in the new testament through Jesus Christ. We believe it is possible to be culturally relevant without compromising the word of God. We believe in being REAL. We believe in being transparent and honest. We believe in treating everyone who walks through the door the same. (James 2:2-4)

what to expect

First of all, you are not a "visitor." You are a guest. When you come back, you're family! You can expect to enjoy a time of freedom in worship and an encouraging message from God's Word.

The FLC family is a diverse bunch. We come from different ethnic backgrounds and we definitely don't look the same. You won't meet "perfect" people at Family Life Church. You will meet people with incredible stories of how the love of God met them where they were and changed them forever.

We hope to see you soon!

What we believe

The bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God

(2 Tim. 3:15-16)

There is only one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

(Gen. 1:26; Deut. 32:39; Matt. 28:19; John 1:1-4, 14:32)

Jesus was miraculously born of the virgin, Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross and rose again on the third day.

(Matt. 1:18-24; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 3:5; John 19:41-20:10, 19-20)

The only way to get to heaven is by trusting in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and accepting His death on the cross as payment for our sin. (Rom. 10:9-10; Eph. 2:8-9)

There is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell.
(2 for. 12:1-4; Rev. 4:1-2; Mark 9:42-48; Rev. 20:11-15)

It is God's desire that no one should perish, but everyone come to repentance and be saved. (John 3:16; 2 Pet. 3:9; 1Tim. 2:4)

Water baptism is by immersion, showing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that it also signifies the death and burial of the believer's old life and his/her resurrection to a new life in Christ. (Matt. 3:13-16; Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:1-5)

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in operation today, and they should operate in the local congregation and in the life of the believer.

(Rom. 11:29; 1 Cor. 12:1-11; Acts 2:38-39)

our vision

The vision for FLC Leesville is CONNECT, GROW, and LEAD

What we mean by this is that the church was meant to be a family of people who do life together, who CONNECT with others through the love of Christ. At FLC we believe in CONNECTING people to God and each other. Secondly, discipleship is at the heart of the people of FLC. We strive to GROW together and raise up disciples who GROW in their relationship with Christ. Thirdly, we believe the next generation is full of potential future LEADers waiting to see and example of what a true biblical LEADer looks like. At FLC we desire to be those LEADers.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
